About Dena

I am a middle-aged woman with a long history and extensive experience caring for animals of all kinds. Before starting my "official" pet-sitting journey, I fostered shelter dogs in my home. This gave me experience with a wide range of issues and needs.

Recently, I lost my elderly Copper boy of 14 and my kitty Pip within the span of 5 months in 2025. This left a huge hole in my heart but getting to care for the babies that come into my care has helped a lot. I fall head over heels in love with every single one them.

Currently, I live in a small home in Rosedale with my 19 year old son. We have a yard, dog door, and park a couple of blocks away. For the pups that are able, there is an enclosed off-leash dog park also very nearby.

I work part-time (8:30-1:00, M-F) in an office a mile from my house. Other than that, I am a total homebody.
